The NETSTRIKE 214.T proposed as an artwork by Tommaso Tozzi and Giacomo Verde within an art exhibition organised by Tuscany Region has been accepted by the technical staff but stopped political one (see www.netstrike.it/214t/lettera.htm). NETSTRIKE 214.T goes on anyway independently of the support of regional bodies but at the same time with the partecipation of several associations, crews and human beings that have subscribed to the action all over the world.
This means that the Net is the place where the art can retrieve freedom apart from strict control of few fellows and thanks to orizzontal partecipation of many ones.
On 30 November during the NETSTRIKE 214.T the click of many anonymous persons lovers of justice all over the world will replace the click of the art exhibition visitors. It will not be a click of a single fellow to stop symbolically the sites of Texas Department of Criminal Justice (http://tdcj.state.tx.us/) and of Texas State (http://www.state.tx.us/), but a peaceful action of thousands and thousands of persons surfing all toghether as a voice against cruel and brutal "justice" adopted by 118 countries all over the world (see the enclosed LIST OF COUNTRIES WHERE THE DEATH PENALTY IS STILL PROVIDED FOR BY THE LAW).

The NETSTRIKE 214.T will be carried out on 30 november 2000, 18:00-19:00 (italian date and time zone GMT +1).

The netstrike will have the effect of peacefully jamming and blocking the above mentioned
site in sign of protest, the same way as thousands of people take to the
streets and block the traffic (see the following ADVICE FOR AN EFFECTIVE NETSTRIKE).
