Ameer Makhoul, Director General de la Ittijah arrestado esta noche por el Shabak

Ammer Makhoul, Director General de La Unión de Asociaciones Comunitarias Árabes con sede en Israel (Ittijah) y el Jefe del Comité Popular para la Protección de las Libertades Políticas, ha sido detenido esta noche a las 3 a.m. por la policía israelí que ha irrumpido en su casa y ha procedido a su arresto.

Ammer Makhoul, Director General de La Unión de Asociaciones Comunitarias Árabes con sede en Israel (Ittijah) y el Jefe del Comité Popular para la Protección de las  Libertades Políticas, ha sido detenido esta noche a las 3 a.m. por la policía israelí que ha irrumpido en su casa y ha procedido a su arresto.

Después de la expedición de una orden del Ministro del Interior de Israel para impedirle la salida del país por un período de dos meses y lo que le niega el derecho a viajar, esta noche dieciocho miembros de la policía israelí ha entrado en su domicilio particular para arrestarlo. Mientras tanto, otro grupo de la policía israelí ha irrumpido en las oficinas de ITTJAH, llevándose ordenadores y otros materiales importantes de la organización.

Hoy a las 11:30 de la mañana se celebrará una audiencia en la Corte Israelí de Petah Tikva.

Esta acción es parte de la escalada de la política israelí de persecución de figuras y líderes políticos, defensores de los derechos humanos y activistas, y forma parte del intento de aplastar el movimiento popular activo por la defensa de los derechos y la existencia del pueblo palestino.

Ammer Makhoul, General Director of The Union of Arab Community Based Associations in Israel (ITTIJAH) and the Head of the Popular Committee for the Protection of Political Freedoms, has been taken tonight at 3am from his house and arrested by the Shabak.

After the issuing of an order by the Israeli Minister of Interior to prevent him from leaving the country for a period of two months and so denying him the right to travel, tonight eighteen members of the Israeli police has entered in his house arresting him, meanwhile another police group has entered in the offices of ITTJAH, taken the computers and other important materials of the organization.

Today at 11:30am a hearing will be taking place at Petah Tikva Court.

This is part of the escalation of the Israeli policy of prosecution against active political figures, leaders, human rights defenders and activist, as an attempt to crush the popular movement to defend the rights and existence of the Palestinian people.
