Lwamba/Rakai District

Lwamba Clinic is located
in Rakai District, 200 km south-west of Kampala and about 40 km from Masaka.
Rakai District is one of those areas in Uganda where thousands of people
died because of AIDS in the 1980`s, before sensitization in the area took
place. That´ s why the population of Rakai are mainly children who
are orphans and old people.
