Natural management
for children and volunteers

This workcamp will
take place in the village Djarkynbaevo (Issy-Kul region). The aim of the
project is social rehabilitation of orphans and children from socially
excluded families through involving them in the social activities. During
this workcamp we will provide as children so volunteers with knowledge
of natural management and native-herb collecting. 30 children during workcamp
will be involved in the legal work. Besides they will have opportunity
to get to know more about other countries and other cultures through intercultural
exchange.
Work: Essential
work is collecting native-herb and its drying. Work is going to be combined
with training courses on Basic English, leadership and cultural integration,
during that we are planning to organize different kinds of events, such
as games, excursion to mountains and bathing in the most beautiful lake
of Kyrgyzstan - Issyk-Kul.
Study:
First Orientation training on native-herb collecting will be provided.
Intercultural learning
Language:
Volunteers will use English as a working language. Local volunteers will
help to communicate foreign participants with children. (Russian would
be an asset).

Work with refugee
children

The project will take
place in Children Boarding School in Dmitrievka, village where most of
inhabitants are refugees. The aim of the project is the encouragement of
refugee children to feel equal with other people and be recognized as a
part of society by introducing them to the world without discrimination,
crime and war. Therefore volunteers will train and provide a learning experience
in the areas of leadership and human rights education for about 20 refugee
children under 16.
Work: organising
events for refugee children as English lessons and training courses on
leadership and HR, evolution of children's creative potential (organizing
workshops on drawing and handy-crafts) and preparation and carrying out
children's pictures exhibition. All this activities will be combined with
free time activities as picnics and site-visiting.
