Inequality between maternity and paternity leave is one of the elements that reflect the obsolete patterns in a society that focuses on co-responsibility and the elimination of the sexual division of labor.
The PPIINA is organizing the next June 12 in Madrid, a Conference, at European level, in order to open the debate between individuals and entities interested in the progress towards equality, feminists, men for equality, youth, students, researchers, representatives of academia, trade unions and public administration.
This debate is going to be wider than employment rights, focusing the model of society we want and is especially important and urgent in the current political context.
This European Conference will provide the framework for assessing the results of the campaign of collecting signatures to petition the European Parliament the equality between maternity and paternity leave that is developing PPIINA since last March 19.
