General Objective

To prevent HIV/AIDS in rural and urban communities in the Department of Cabañas and frontier towns of Honduras.

Specific Objectives

• To facilitate worshops concentrating on education of HIV/AIDS, sexuality, sexual and reproductive rights, and national reality with the general population of Cabañas and frontier towns of Honduras: schools, institutions, communities with little or no access to information, youth prisions, prisions, military stations, and groups of men and women.

• Accompaniament (spiritual and economic) and defense of the rights of those living with HIV/AIDS.

• Increase impact on public organizations

• Coordination with both public and private institutions: civil organizations, PREVENSIDA, The Ministy of Health and Education, the department of Education, SIBASI, prisions, military stations, PNC, ISDEMU, Attorney DD.HH., ADESCOS, mayors, NGOs, and radio stations.

• To develop actions of Fortalecimiento Institucional that facilitates the work and sustainability: legalization, capability of the members, teams, access to the internet, aliances (financial aliances, collaborators, NGOs, etc.) and improve the economic situation of the members so they can dedicate themselves 100%.

• To improve CoCoSI's collaboration with other organizations
