The European Communist Youth Organizations strongly condemn the air-strikes and the ground invasion of Israel that brings a new huge massacre of innocent Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. This savage and bloody strike that has caused hundreds of dead and thousands of wounded Palestinians couldn’t be operated without the total support and endorsement by the US, EU and NATO.

Imperialist forces are promoting the plan of the New Middle East that brings more profits to the multinational enterprises and death, blood, poverty and hunger to the peoples.

We denounce the challenging and hypocritical statements of the EU that try to keep positions like those of “equidistance” and “impartiality,” an EU that has recently upgraded its official relations with Israel rewarding for their slaughter in Palestine, considering Palestinian resistance in many of its resolutions as terrorists.

This imperialist war it is not an affair only of Palestinians. It is an issue of all the peoples that aim to its sovereignty and self-determination. (more…)

On July 2008, the European Commission, a EU institution which lacks any kind of democratic legitimacy, aprooved a Guideline that legalize a curse that millions of young working people in Europe already know: companies are authorized to impose to the working class longer working days. They can increase the working hours a week up to 65, within a context in which the living standards are falling rapidly and precariousness in labour is getting us back to the XIX century.

In some weeks, the Spanish Govenment, the trade-unions and the employers’ unions are going to meet to set the principles of the next Labour Reform. This is a sign that Zapatero and the trade-unions are going one step forward in the cuts of the most basic rights, affecting specially to the youth. (more…)

The celebration of Spanishness Day is the most black exaltation of the unity of Spain, the nostalgia of the Franco regime and the sublimation of the Armed Forces. With a guidance of internal and international relations based on the threat and the aggression  the role played by the professional army to serve the interests of the Spanish oligarchy is essential.

The presence of troops in conflict areas such as Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Lebanon and Chad show that they are not going to defend anything other than political and economic interests of European capital, leaving to their fate to the affected. (more…)

There are already 10 years of detention and imprisonment of 5 anti-terrorist fighters in the USA, since this injustice, have not ceased popular demonstrations of solidarity throughout the world.

Against this background the Executive Committee of the CJC wants to continue showing its solidarity and appeal to all of the CJC militancy and anti-imperialist youth to add to the unit callings that will be in the coming days. In particular the September 12: World Day for Freedom of 5, around the world will show solidarity actions, and on October 4, unitary state demonstration for freedom of the 5 convened in Madrid. From Wednesday 16th of July to Sunday 20th, one of the most important CJC events of the year was held, under the slogan “Learning and Studying to change our reality”. During 5 days, more than 50 members and friends of our organization, coming from many territories and nations of Spain, have met, discussed and lived together in order to prepare ourselves ideologically for the revolution.

Our organization is a school of young communists. That’s the reason why we have mixed the theorical teachings with the practical activities and enterteinment: sport, cinema, music,… From the complex expositions about Political Economy or Dialectical Materialism to some polemic subjects, such as feminism or the right of self-determination, all of them have been given a Marxist perspective that offer specific solutions for the reality. The CJC want to show our deepest solidarity with the KSM and denounce the arrest of the KSM’s leader in a demonstration in Prague against the Czech health system privatization.

These facts have one’s doubts about the supposed freedom of speech and right of assembly in bourgeois democracy and confirm the criminalization and persecution faced by communist movement and in particular the KSM in the Czech Republic. The excuse about fact was that the KSM militant was carrying a banner with the KSM symbol, recently outlawed. (more…)

Today, Sunday 1st of June, the interests of the social-democratic government have been shown again. Once again, Democracia Nacional (National Democracy - a fascist party), despite trying to hide under all kind of euphemisms, has shown its xenophobic and racist nature. In this ocassion, they have tried to manipulate one of the most booming demand of the youth: the struggle for a decent house. They have tried to confuse the youth, blaming the immigrant workers instead of the real origin of this problem. (more…)

Under the attacks and military exercises of Turkish army in Kurdistan the CC of the CJC says:

The resumption of military aggression against the sovereignty of the Kurdish people is one more example about zero interest of Turkish government to respect the fundamental rights of the Kurdish working class. Under the “fight against PKK terrorism” they hide the occupation and genocide of an entire people.

We denounce the apparent complicity of the US and the EU in these attacks. The attack has been guided by these two imperialist poles at all times, thus demonstrating that the Turkish state is one of the most important advocates of the geostrategic interests of imperialism in the area. (more…)
