Coordinator-General of the Indigenous Popular Council of Oaxaca “Ricardo Flores Magon” (CIPO-RFM),
Member of the Council of the Popular Assembly of the People of Oaxaca (APPO),
Member of the Zapatista’s Other Campaign, and a life-long School Teacher

Dolores will give an update on the situation in Oaxaca, providing the perspective of an indigenous woman who has been at the forefront of the peaceful movement demanding the resignation of the state’s governor for his involvement in political repression, violence and corruption. CIPO-RFM also continues to demand the reconstitution and free association of indigenous communities, a claim broadened through the work of the APPO and the social movement that has erupted since June 14th, 2006.
