We have the right to choose who we allow to immigrate. The immigrant must someday assimilate and fit into our society at large. As an immigrant myself, it's important that we fit in, both for our sake and the sake of those who were born in America. We really do not want a large population of sex workers who are going to be isolated from society--who must keep their occupation secret from their neighbors. Besides, immigrants should pay taxes just like everyone else. The burden of providing social services and infrastructure can't just be borne by one segment or else resentment will creep in and our society will fracture.
